For 14 years, we have been providing IT services to major international clients in the media sector, as well as startups in healthcare, education, and e-commerce. Most of our clients are from the USA and Canada, while we also run projects with partners in Russia.

We are currently expanding our Data team and looking for an experienced Middle Data Engineer to help develop a modern data platform for one of our key clients.

What you ll be doing:

• Organizing and cleaning data: normalizing directories and key fields (e.g., dates in HUM and Marketo);

• ETL setup: creating new and modifying existing pipelines;

• Refactoring ETL code in Python/SQL to improve maintainability and performance;

• Data quality control: checks, monitoring, and reports in Snowflake;

• Assisting with data security and role management in Snowflake;

• Building SQL models for product KPIs to support analytics (Tableau);

• (In the future) implementing AI features in Snowflake for automation and analytics.

What we expect:

• 2 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer;

• English language: B2+ (for calls with clients);

• Strong SQL skills, including optimization of complex queries;

• Experience building ETL pipelines (GitHub Actions / Python);

• Experience with DWH, preferably Snowflake;

• Confident in Git/GitHub, understanding of CI/CD;

• Bonus: experience with Snowflake Cortex or other LLM/AI-powered tools in a data environment.

Tech stack:

• DWH: Snowflake;

• ETL: Python, SQL, GitHub Actions;

• BI/Analytics: Tableau, Salesforce;

• Version control: Git/GitHub;

• Additional: Snowflake Cortex and AI tools (as implemented).

Conditions:

• Employment through an individual entrepreneur (IP) in Russia or abroad;

• Remote work, preferably GMT+3 a few hours (important to overlap with Pacific time and Novosibirsk);

• For those who prefer office work: offices in Novosibirsk Akademgorodok (Techpark) and Tbilisi (Rustaveli metro area);
